They coudl also underhandedly play this tactic against a clueless operative as to trying to trick them into performing a feautre they promoted inside of the matrix simulation that should be done only inside the matrix simulation, outside of the matrix simulation in reality (when a operative liekly is confused whether or not they're in reality or a simulated dream). That's like someone promoting the idea that inorder to get out of the matrix, a operative must hurt themselves, yet confused them by releasing the operative fromt he matrix simulation likely having them believe they're still in the simulation trying to get them to hurt themselves.
